The first step was to define the visual relationship between the mother brand Zuccabarucca and the new sub-brand Zucca Lab. To achieve this, I decided to keep the word ZUCCA unchanged, using a clean, vertical layout that would visually anchor the new logo to the original brand.

Next, I focused on the word Lab, aiming to give it a softer, more creative feel in line with the world of interior design. I selected a rounded, modern font that would convey a sense of warmth, craftsmanship, and approachability.

The key idea was to integrate a subtle visual reference to the pumpkin within the typography itself. I carefully modified the shapes of the a and b letters to create a continuous, circular form that would evoke the silhouette of a pumpkin. To enhance this effect, I added a small leaf detail to the top of the b, completing the pumpkin shape in a clean and stylized way.

Throughout the process, I tested different font weights, color gradients, and composition layouts to balance the clarity of the logo with its symbolic elements. The final choice was a gradient orange tone for Lab, reinforcing the idea of warmth, creativity, and the organic nature of the brand.
